This is a short story that will have to hold you until Book 6 in the Josef and Blair Series is finished. I am writing and finishing up several series right now, and have a very full plate, but due to recent emails wondering what my characters were up to, I needed to send Blair on what I hope is 'One Last Mission'. I recently released Sleeping Lizards - Book 1: Somnolent Chameleon at Amazon.com, and in my zeal to tell the story, painted my lead character into a corner. I need Blair to extricate her from the mess I put her in, hence, here is the bridge between the two Series. Now, to read this you will need a bit of back story. In the second book in the Josef and Blair Series, 'Between Love and Hate - Book 2: Reich in the Middle', Blair goes to the Middle East on a mission, where her team is assisted by a Government Sanctioned Assassin, Marianas. I will bring him into this story, as his skill set, and that of the other three 'Trenchees' will be very necessary for the adversary they will face, who is none other than Sleepy, the antagonist in the Sleeping Lizards - Book 1: Somnolent Chameleon story.
The difficulty in bringing these two books together, is that the Josef and Blair Series is a Spy Thriller with a lot of romance mixed in, and the Series involving Sleepy is a Sci-Fi Thriller. Just know, that the character Marianas, with his fellow assassins Tonga, Kermadec and Philippine, are all steeped in mysticism and their exploits in the intelligence community are legendary for a reason. This is plainly shown throughout the Josef and Blair Series, and this story is going to be the first real start of the explanation of who and what they truly are. This story is written as a continuation of the Josef and Blair series, I would recommend that if you like it, you revisit their story in Books 1-5 of their series. Blair Aikman is a Female Black Anti-Terrorist Agent, who works for the Shadow Agency, which has been formed to combat the threat of terrorism within the borders of the United States. Her directive many years ago was to eliminate the threat posed by Robert Lee Dyson, leader of the Aryan Brotherhood Nation, who was determined to join the strength of the thirty major Neo-Nazi Organizations in the U.S. When that fails, his Son Josef Heinrich Erwin Dyson, emerges to wreak vengeance against Americans, and then, Blair's life. Josef has vowed to make everyone involved with the move against his Aryan Brotherhood Nation pay. And then pay again.
